Girish Maruti Ernak began his Pro Kabaddi career with Patna Pirates in 2015 before playing for Bengal Warriors in Seasons 3 and 4. During his time with Bengal Warriors in Season 3, he formed a strong partnership with right corner Nilesh Shinde. However, his performance in Season 4 was average. It was in Season 5 that Puneri Paltan recognized his potential and acquired him in the auctions. Since then, Girish has become a vital force for Puneri Paltan, developing a strong partnership with Sandeep Narwal and even taking the captainship for the team in Season 6. Standing at 5 feet 7 inches tall, Girish proved to be a solid left-corner defender and continues to maintain exceptional form at the national level as well.
