Kashiling Adake, also known as Kashi-missile,1 was born on Friday, 18 December 1992 (31 years old; as of 2023) in Sangli, Maharashtra, India. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. His father was a professional Wrestler, but Kashi was not interested in Wrestling and was even scared of practicing. So, he chose to pursue a career in kabaddi instead.

In season 1 of the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League, Kashiling Adake was bought by Dabang Delhi and retained with the team for four seasons.
He scored a total of 112 points in 14 matches including 3 Super Raids. Representing U Mumba for season 5, Kashi scored 114 raid points and 8 tackle points in 20 matches with 4 Super Raids and 1 Super Tackle.

Controversies
Rape and Harassment Allegations
In March 2015, a female from the Kolhapur district complained to the police, accusing Kashiling of sexually assaulting and tormenting her. The woman claimed that Adake had deceived her by promising marriage and thereafter engaged in sexual activity without her consent. He was charged with various crimes, including rape, assault, insulting her by intention, and threatening her with criminal intent, all of which are offenses under the Indian penal code. Following the complaint, Kashiling was presented in court but subsequently granted bail.
Held for Gambling
Eight individuals, including Kashiling Adake, were caught engaging in gambling activities in Kasegaon village of Sangli district, Maharashtra. The police conducted a raid at the house of Kashiling Adake and seized worth Rs 1.61 lakh. The accused were presented in court and have been granted bail. A police official stated that the police received information about illegal gambling activities at Kashiling Adake’s residence and, after verification, they carried out a raid. The police seized materials like notebooks, cards, and papers linked with gambling. The accused have been charged with several sections of the Maharashtra Gambling Act and have been charged with illegally hoarding alcohol. 2

- Kashiling has a family history of sports as his grandfather and father were wrestlers and his uncle Sunil played Kabaddi for Bharat Petroleum.
- When his father passed away in 2013, Kashi had to take on the financial burden of his family. He started working in a sugar cane factory and also did farming to support himself.
- In 2008, his uncle offered him the chance to train in Mumbai to qualify for the Sports Authority of India (SAI), but he faced rejection on his first attempt.
- In 2009 with immense hard work and perseverance, he managed to secure a spot in the kabaddi team during the next trial.
- Initially, the Indian Railways approached him, but he made the decision to join Bharat Petroleum instead.
- He started receiving a monthly stipend of Rs 5,500 from Mahindra as he played well for the team. This caught the attention of the national team and he subsequently got the chance to perform in Pro Kabaddi League.
